Working at the intersection of urban planning, real estate and the Arts, Flora Lofts and La Reunion TX are bringing an energizing new force of creativity to the Dallas Arts District. Flora Lofts will mix upscale residential units with affordable artist housing and street-level pedestrian amenities in the vibrant downtown environment of the Dallas Arts District.
By providing live/work space for artists and their families, La Reunion TX’s Flora Lofts Live/Work Project will add an important new dimension to the Dallas Arts District. The arrival of Flora Lofts completes the original vision, articulated in the “Sasaki Plan,” for the Dallas Arts District, which included, “a place where serious artists can work and live within the Arts District.” Locating a mix of qualified artists in one Arts District location will help fuel the creative growth of Dallas-area artists.
Flora Lofts is expected to start construction at the end of 2015 with an anticipated completion in 2017.
