Preparing the La Reunion TX land ready for building while keeping in mind a healthy, long-term ecology is of utmost importance to La Reunion TX. Engaging artists as stewards of the ecosystem and site specific sculpture are the hallmarks of the Environmental Art Program at La Reunion TX.

Here's what our artists say about our Environmental Art Program:
"Without a doubt the best ever… I felt that everything was sweetly executed and set a gorgeous tone and precedent for the coming years…!!"
"I am honored to be a part of this project, and am really excited about the future of this organization. Great and beautiful things are to come!"
"This was fantastic!! Looking forward to more projects like these and many more opportunities…"

Future Environmental Art programming includes special tours, workshops, lectures, Earth Works and more.

One of our Environmental Art Programs is Make Space : Installation - creating North Texas' first and only decomposing outdoor sculpture garden.  Artists co-create a decomposing work with nature to create an ephemeral installation.  The decomposing sculptural work can  become a feast for insects and birds and helps restores a more balanced ecosystem.

Partners for Make Space : Installation include Preservation Tree and Texas Discovery Gardens.
